No fewer than 28 suspected teenage cultists operating in some public secondary schools in Asaba, the Delta State capital have been arrested.
The suspected cultists, between the ages of 13 and 16, were nabbed during school hours, following intelligence reports from members of the public.

Confirming the arrests on Saturday, the State Commissioner of Police, CP, Zanna Ibrahim, told newsmen in Asaba that the teenage secret cult group was known as the ‘Future Trigger Boys’.
According to him, 10 out of the 28 suspects were students of Osadenis Grammar School, Asaba.
The CP said, “They call themselves the ‘Future Trigger Boys’. We were able to arrest these ones, while many others are still on the run.
“These are children, who were sent to school to study but regrettably, they form cult group to terrorise their fellow students and the entire school. Since we arrested them, many of their parents have been on our neck.
“The police are still investigating the activities of the group and the ringleaders who are currently on the run, would be apprehended,” Ibrahim added, urging members of the public to continuously avail the command with valuable information that would help the Police checkmate all forms of crimes in the society.
