Chelsea have claimed an awards double after Antonio Conte was named Premier League Manager of the Month for October and Eden Hazard Player of the Month.
Conte led his side to victory in all four matches they played in the month, as they scored 11 goals and conceded none.
The contribution of Hazard to that winning sequence has also been recognised, with the Belgium international scoring three goals and playing a typically influential role.
Chelsea 4-0 drubbing of Man United led by former Blues boss Jose Mourinho – was the undoubted highlight.
October began with a 2-0 win away to Hull, with Willian and Diego Costa scoring in the space of seven second-half minutes to secure the points.
Chelsea kept up their momentum after the international break as defending champions Leicester were swept aside 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho’s return to west London brought expectations of a close encounter but Pedro opened the scoring for Chelsea in the opening minute as United were outclassed.
A potentially tricky trip to St Mary’s then followed on October 30 but another superb display, capped by goals from Hazard and Costa and yet another clean sheet, sealed a 2-0 victory over Southampton.
